Artist statement:
"Hi everyone,
Thank you for all of the support on my new project! I’m very sad to announce that I unfortunately have to postpone my upcoming Europe tour to a later date. Due to an unforeseen dental emergency, I will not be well enough to play these shows, but we have already begun making arrangements for a postponed tour and I’m very hopeful that we will make it to Europe soon. For the next week (until the end of the day May 4th), net proceeds from soft merch sales will go directly to the live band members who were planning to join me on this run.

Kate Bollinger is een singer-songwriter, zij schrijft charmante, bedachtzame en melodieuze indiepop. Ze is geboren en getogen in Charlottesville, Virginia. Ze groeide op rond muziek dankzij haar moeder, die een muziektherapeut is, en haar broers, die in bands speelden. Haar projecten zijn altijd collaboratief; ze vult haar nummers aan met muzikanten uit haar community en maakt haar muziekvideo's met vrienden. In 2019 bracht Kate haar debuut EP, 'I Don't Wanna Lose', uit. De nummers gaan over het aanpassen naar volwassenheid. Een jaar later volgde haar tweede EP: 'A word becomes a sound'. Ze bracht het tempo omlaag, en creëerde een verzameling van intieme bedroom pop nummers. Tijdens corona heeft Kate gewerkt aan haar nieuwe EP. Onlangs bracht ze de eerste single 'Shadows' uit.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
