Kandace Springs:
Soul- en jazz-zangeres, songwriter en pianist Kandace Springs werd geboren in Nashville en groeide op in een muzikaal gezin. Ze breekt in 2014 door wanneer niemand minder dan Prince een video ziet waarin Springs een cover zingt van Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me'. Zonder twijfel nodigt de funklegende haar uit om met hem op te treden op Paisley Park. Haar meest recente album ‘Indigo’ zag in 2018 het levenslicht en daarop klinken haar funky sound en geweldige, diepe vocalen beter dan ooit tevoren. In 2021 komt de jonge zangeres, nadat het concert twee keer moest worden verplaatst vanwege de coronamaatregelen, terug naar Amsterdam voor een concert in Paradiso Noord.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
