De Canadees-Japanse Justin Nozuka bracht op 16-jarige leeftijd debuut 'Holly' uit in 2007. Nozuka werd bekend met nummers als 'After Tonight', 'Golden Train' en 'Save Him'. Waar de singer-songwriter in zijn vroege jaren meer in de zomerse indiefolk-hoek zit, wordt de invloed van soul en R&B per album groter. Sinds 2007 is er veel veranderd, maar de persoonlijke teksten en het serene stemgeluid Nozuka blijven hoofdrolspelers op zijn podium. In 2018 komt 'Run to Waters' uit, waarop niet alleen soul, maar ook de nachtelijke omzwervingen van zijn insomnia in experimentele partijen te horen zijn. Na een aantal jaar wat minder te hebben uitgebracht kwam onlangs single '444' uit.
Dit concert is uitverkocht. Er zijn nog wel tickets verkrijgbaar voor het concert van Justin Nozuka op 14 juli in TivoliVredenburg.

Bitterzoet is located close to Amsterdam Central station. From there you can walk to the venue. There are limited and busy parking lots in the area.
