John Francis Flynn is een zanger en multi-instrumentalist wiens werk draait om de traditionele folk en tradities van Ierland. Flynn is niet alleen als soloartiest bekend, hij is ook onderdeel van de band Skipper's Alley. In 2019 gaat Flynn mee als het support van Lankum, waar hij wordt opgemerkt door Geoff Travis en Jeanette Lee van platenlabel Rough Trade en tekent hij bij sublabel River Lea, dat debuutalbum 'I Would Not Live Always' uitbrengt in 2021. Het album wordt goed ontvangen en vooral de manier waarop Flynn in staat is zowel Ierse als Engelse folk over te brengen gooit hoge ogen. Onlangs bracht de Ier nieuwe singles uit, waarvan 'Mole in the Ground' en 'Willie Crotty' de laatste zijn.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
