The Joep Beving concerts in Paradiso on April 21, April 22 and December 7, 2021 have been moved to February 18, 19 and 20, 2022. Tickets purchased are divided into these three concerts. Ticket buyers will receive an email on January 31, 2022 with more information about which concert they are assigned to.

Important: To gain access, please bring the following:

1. Your ticket for this programme.
2. Your personal COVID Certificate in the Dutch CoronaCheck app, a CoronaCheck print or the QR code in your EU country's corona app. (for visitors of 13 years and older)
3. An official photo ID.

Without these three items, entry is not granted. Please set up your QR code before traveling to Paradiso to reduce delays at the doors. If you do not have a full vaccination or recovery certificate in your CoronaCheck app or DCC from a EU country, or are visiting from outside of the EU, you need to book a COVID test to within 24 hours of the start of the event through testenvoortoegang.org. Pianist Joep Beving maakt sinds 2015 grote indruk met zijn minimalistische en introspectieve composities, of naar eigen zeggen ‘’simpele muziek voor complexe emoties’’. Als producer was Beving al wat langer actief, maar zijn echte doorbraak kwam nadat hij zijn debuutalbum getiteld ‘Solipsism’ in eigen beheer opnam en uitbracht. Zijn muziek werd opgepikt door Deutsche Grammophon; dit zorgde ervoor dat Bevings tweede album ‘Prehension’ uitkwam op het toonaangevende platenlabel. Voor zijn meest recente album ‘Henosis’ verkende de componist nieuw terrein in samenwerking met Echo Collective, Cappella Amsterdam en Maarten Vos, waardoor zijn geluid werd verrijkt met orkestrale en elektronische elementen. Dit werk werd in november 2019 bekroond met een Edison. Onlangs bracht hij zijn prachtige versie van Sef's 'De Leven' uit, samen met S10. De opbrengst van het nummer gaan naar het Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Ziekenhuis dat onderzoek doet naar immuuntherapie tegen kanker.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
