Op zaterdag 25 april geeft de Amerikaanse folk singer-songwriter Joe Henry een intiem concert in het prachtige Zonnehuis in Amsterdam. Tijdens zijn imposante muzikale carrière van ruim 30 jaar bracht hij maar liefst 15 studioalbums uit en werkte hij samen met legendes als T Bone Burnett, Ornette Coleman en Billy Bragg. Ook als producer wist hij grote successen te behalen: zo won hij 3 Grammy's en droeg hij bij aan albums van artiesten als Bonnie Raitt, Elvis Costello en Rhiannon Giddens. Zijn meest recente soloalbum 'The Gospel According to Water' verscheen in november 2019. Op zaterdag 25 april zie je Joe Henry in zijn puurste vorm: solo én akoestisch in het Zonnehuis in Amsterdam.

How to get to Zonnehuis
Zonnehuis is on Zonneplein 30a in Amsterdam North. Parking is free around this monumental building. The closest ferry to Zonnehuis is the NDSM-werf ferry. From there you can take a cab or bicycle, both getting you to the venue in about 10 minutes.
