Let op: helaas heeft Joe Armon-Jones ons laten weten dat hij genoodzaakt is zijn concert in Paradiso op vrijdag 27 september te cancelen:

'Hey everyone, I’m really sorry…Basically I fractured my wrist and will have to reschedule the TTCV tour. I wouldn’t do this unless it was totally necessary but I'm looking forward to bringing the album on the road once I’m healed. New dates to follow'.

Het concert is verplaatst naar 17 februari 2020. Alle gekochte tickets blijven geldig voor het nieuwe concert.

Op vrijdag 27 september staat de gevierde Britse jazzpianist Joe Armon-Jones in Paradiso. Na binnen een aantal jaar te zijn uitgegroeid te zijn tot één van de meestgevraagde muzikanten binnen de toonaangevende Londense jazzscene bracht hij in 2018 zijn debuutalbum 'Starting Today' uit via Brownswood Recordings, het label van BBC 6 smaakmaker Gilles Peterson. Op het album is een vernieuwend en spiritueel jazzgeluid te horen met invloeden van soul, hiphop en dub, en werkt hij samen met getalenteerde bevriende muzikanten als Nubya Garcia, Moses Boyd, Maxwell Owin en Oscar Jerome.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
