Achter de artiestennaam Hozier gaat de Ierse singer-songwriter Andrew Hozier-Byrne (1990) schuil. Hij brak in 2013 plotsklaps wereldwijd door met zijn debuutsingle 'Take Me to Church', na voorheen enkel te hebben opgetreden in cafés in de Ierse hoofdstad Dublin. Hozier staat bekend om zijn krachtige, beladen popsongs waarin hij zingt over thema's als de liefde, religie en sociaal maatschappelijke kwesties die hem aan het hart gaan. Hij put daarnaast veel inspiratie uit genres als jazz, blues en folk. Afgelopen maart bracht hij na een radiostilte van drie jaar zijn nieuwste EP 'Eat Your Young' uit en kondigde hij een concert in AFAS Live in juli 2023 aan; de show verkocht binnen zeer korte tijd uit. Maar voor het zo ver is, komt Hozier deze maand al naar Amsterdam voor een exclusief, intiem concert in het Zonnehuis in Amsterdam.

How to get to Zonnehuis
Zonnehuis is on Zonneplein 30a in Amsterdam North. Parking is free around this monumental building. The closest ferry to Zonnehuis is the NDSM-werf ferry. From there you can take a cab or bicycle, both getting you to the venue in about 10 minutes.
