This program is part of Summer Dance Forever: an international hip-hop dance festival where dancers and audiences from all over the world come together in Amsterdam twice a year. The Summer Dance Forever Weekender program includes the House Dance Battle, Clubbing Forever, different club nights, dance performances and workshops. Next to the Weekender, the week-long Summer Dance Forever festival takes place every year in August. There is an affordable Weekender Package for sale (€48 online) that gives you access to the entire program from 31 January - 2 February, excluding the workshops.

House Dance Forever is a competition where the top 24 dancers from around the globe face off in the club style of House Dance. The crowd can enjoy watching the preselections and thrilling battles, while those who make it to the Top 3 must challenge the three legendary judges if they want to claim victory.

This is what sets Summer Dance Forever apart from other dance events worldwide. Unlike traditional competitions where judges observe from behind a desk, our judges join the action on the floor, battling it out alongside the contestants. These internationally renowned dancers don’t always come out on top, and whoever wins earns not only prize money and eternal glory but also the chance to judge at a future event.

➤ If you stay at Paradiso after the battles, you can attend the club night 'Digging Deep into House' for free, starting at 23:30 (if you leave Paradiso, you have to buy a separate ticket for this event!).

WANT TO PARTICIPATE?

Registrations and preselections for House Dance Forever take place on the same day. If you want to participate in the battles, you first need to register and participate in the preselections. The top 24 best dancers will go through to the actual battle.

Minimum age for participation is 12 years.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
