Hot Flash Heat Wave is het trio Adam Abildgaard, Nick Duffy en Ted Davis uit San Francisco. Ze hebben een uniek en veelzijdig geluid; hedendaagse indiepop met een aanstekelijke gitaar, zonovergoten melodieën en soms snufjes van psychedelica, bedroom pop en post-punk. Daarnaast zijn invloeden van My Bloody Valentine, Frank Ocean en New Order te horen. Sinds hun debuut heeft de band een loyale fanbasis opgebouwd. In 2019 brachten ze hun EP 'Mood Ring' uit en gaven ze een Indiestad concert in Cinetol. Nu zijn ze terug met nieuwe singles, die een eerste indruk geven van hun aankomend album, en een concert in Paradiso's kleine zaal.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
