De uit San Francisco afkomstige rock 'n roll crooner Hanni El Khatib combineert garage, folk en blues. In 2010 tekent hij bij Innovative Leisure (Allah-Las, Tijuana Panthers, Nick Waterhouse) om daar vervolgens vier albums op uit brengen. Zijn tweede plaat 'Head In The Dirt' werd geproduceerd door Dan Auerbach van The Black Keys, die hem nog vuiger rock 'n roll geluid gaf. Luister maar eens naar het knallende 'Family'. Maar ook zijn meer slepende, rustige nummers als 'Moonlight' zitten prachtig in elkaar. Afgelopen maart kwam na een vijfdelige EP-serie het album 'Savage Times' uit.

Bitterzoet is located close to Amsterdam Central station. From there you can walk to the venue. There are limited and busy parking lots in the area.
