De Japanse powergroep Guitar Wolf maakt gruizige en harde garagerock in het Japans sinds de late jaren tachtig. Hun reputatie van extreem harde liveband bracht ze naar de Verenigde Staten en Europa. Het laatste album ‘BLACK LEATHER BOMB LIVE at WWWX’ bevat live opnames van diverse nummers uit hun meer dan 35-jarig bestaan. Zij staan bekend om hun typische rock'n roll sound en uiterlijk: je kan de bandleden uittekenen in zwarte leren motorjasjes en leren broeken. De band heeft diverse samenstellingen gehad, Guitar Wolf bestaat nu uit Seiji, Gotz en Shingo. Elk lid heeft een Ramones-achtige achternaam aangenomen die het instrument dat hij bespeelt weerspiegelt: Seiji is Guitar Wolf, Gotz is Bass Wolf en Shingo is Drum Wolf.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
