'Step out of the rat race with GUIDO's neo-classical piano music'

With his neo-classical piano music, composer and pianist GUIDO is reaching a worldwide audience. His single "Old Letter" has been listened to more than 8.5 million times on Spotify alone so far. This fall he will release his first album.

Guido Heeneman has been working behind the scenes for years on music for well-known TV series and Netflix movies, but he also creates impressive compositions for NPO documentaries. A well-known example is his music for the series Krabbé Seeks Picasso for which he won a prestigious Buma Award. Under his stage name GUIDO, he has for several years been releasing his own compositions which, in terms of genre, fit effortlessly into the ranks of Yann Tiersen, Ólafur Arnalds, Joep Beving and Ludovico Einaudi, but characterized by an unmistakable style of his own.

On December 8 this year, GUIDO will release its first real full-length album: 'Family Stories Part I'. The album was inspired by old 8mm family films he found in the attic of his childhood home, making it his most personal work to date. Earlier this year, GUIDO already released several singles from the album, including "Momentum," "April," "Little Daydreams," and "Time for Change. During his performance at Paradiso, he will perform much of 'Family Stories Part I.'
