Geppetto and the Whales is de nieuwe indiefolksensatie uit België. De zeskoppige band heeft maar liefst drie leadzangers. Kenmerkend zijn de melodieën en meerstemmige harmonie:en die voor een intieme sfeer zorgen, maar zo nu en dan worden afgewisseld door meeslepende soundscapes. Die diversiteit is dan ook de kracht op het debuutalbum ‘Heads of Woe’. Het album werd geproduceerd door Thom Monahan (Vetiver, Devendra Banhart, Jonathan Wilson). Een aanrader voor fans van Fleet Foxes, Local Natives en Bon Iver.
