Gavin James is een bekroonde Ierse singer-songwriter die luisteraars betovert met muziek die rechtstreeks uit zijn hart komt. De in Dublin geboren James start zijn muzikale carrière als straatmuzikant. Dankzij zijn kwetsbare teksten over liefde, verdriet en geluk, zijn vaardigheid op de gitaar en stemgeluid bouwt hij snel een fanschare op met daarin onder meer Ed Sheeran. In 2016 verschijnt debuutalbum 'Bitter Pill', dat zijn vermogen om diepe emoties te weerspiegelen toont. Toch hoef je bij Gavin James niet bang te zijn om weemoedig de zaal uit te gaan, want ook de lichtere thema's in het leven worden vrolijk aangeraakt. Onlangs kwam single 'White Noise' uit dat de voorloper is van een aankomend nieuw album. Op 8 en 9 februari staat Gavin James in de Vondelkerk, waar zijn troubadourachtige muziek en veelal akoestische melodieën waarschijnlijk prachtig zullen resoneren.

How to get to Vondelkerk

The Vondel Church is on Vondelstraat 120A. That is right at the Vondelpark and Leidseplein. Take tram 1, 2 or 5 and get out at the Leidseplein stop. From there on out it is a 10 minute walk to the Vondel Church.
