Gang of Four is een postpunkband uit Leeds, Engeland, opgericht in 1976. De originele line-up bestond uit Jon King (zang), Andy Gill (gitaar), Dave Allen (bas) en Hugo Burnham (drums). Ze staan bekend om hun scherpe, politieke teksten en een fusie tussen agressief punkgeluid met sterke funk- en dub reggae- invloeden.

Hun debuutalbum, 'Entertainment!' (1979), wordt beschouwd als een van de meest baanbrekende albums in de postpunkgeschiedenis. Het bevat nummers als 'Damaged Goods', 'At Home He’s a Tourist" en 'Anthrax'.

Op 5 februari 1980 stonden ze al eens in Paradiso, en nu gaan ze voor de allerlaatste keer op tournee met The Long Goodbye, waarin ze Entertainment! integraal spelen, gevolgd door een tweede set met hoogtepunten uit hun carrière. De huidige line-up bestaat uit Hugo Burnham (drums), Jon King (zang), Gail Greenwood (bas) en Ted Leo (gitaar).

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
