In 2011 begonnen zangeres Brooke Singer en gitarist John Fitzgerald de band French for Rabbits, als dromerig indiefolkduo uit Nieuw-Zeeland. Inmiddels is de band uitgegroeid tot een kwartet. Hun melancholische liedjes vertellen herkenbare verhalen van verlangens en spijt, waarin vaak symboliek met de zee wordt aangehaald. De muziek kan vergeleken worden met Siv Jakobsen en Aldous Harding, die net zo goed een concertzaal als je woonkamer aan kunnen laten voelen.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
