ULTRASEXI presents: FPQ - TOP OF THE POP QUEERS!

FPQ, short for "F*cking Pop Queers," stands as Amsterdam's oldest and most renowned pop party, created by ULTRASEXI and Dick Koopman. It dates back to 2006 when it took place on Wednesdays at STUDIO80. From 2009 to 2013, it became a monthly event every second Saturday at Jimmy Woo. In 2011, FPQ expanded to FPQXL. Paradiso hosts the party several times a year. The Queer & Pride party, held on the first Saturday of August, stands out as a pinnacle event during the Pride season.

The main purpose of FPQ is escapism. We blend in the latest popular tracks alongside classic hits, creating an electrifying mix of old favorites and fresh tunes. We believe that there is no guilt to any pleasure, so we also include a lot of “guilty pleasure” songs. This time we bring homage to the classic pop TV shows.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
