Paradiso presenteert Forest Swords in Bitterzoet.
Producer Matthew Barnes zoekt zijn eigen weg tussen chillwave, kale hiphopbeats en duistere drones. Als Forest Swords knutselde hij zelf de tracks op zijn juichend ontvangen debuutalbum 'Dagger Paths' in elkaar, opgebouwd uit kale, vertraagde hiphop of R&B-beats en overgoten met galmende gitaarpartijen en effecten. Zijn nieuwe album ‘Compassion’ verscheen in mei, waarop Barnes field recordings, beats, jazz saxofoon en digitale geluiden met elkaar combineert tot een geheel dat alle genres overstijgt.
