Al 25 jaar lang staat Floor Jansen bekend als een van de beste metalzangeressen van Nederland. De Brabantse begon haar carrière in 1995 met de symfonische metalband After Forever, waarmee ze de hele wereld over reisde. Na het uit elkaar gaan van die band ging ze aan de slag bij de Finse metalband Nightwish. Ondanks haar wereldwijde bekendheid maakte in Nederland het grote publiek pas in 2019 kennis met de krachtige stem van Floor Jansen dankzij haar deelname aan het tv-programma Beste Zangers. Hierin maakte ze indruk met verschillende covers, maar vooral met de vertolking van ‘The Phantom Of The Opera’ in duet met Henk Poort.

Het zorgde voor een kick-start van haar solocarrière en het winnen van de Popprijs. In 2022 verschijnen de eerste singles onder haar eigen naam: ‘Fire’ en ‘Storm’. Nadat haar eerste solotour binnen een etmaal uitverkocht, is Floor Jansen in 2023 opnieuw op de Nederlandse podia te zien.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
