Wie naar Erlend Øye luistert zal in eerste instantie, op de naam na, niet verwachten dat de singer-songwriter Noors is. In 2012 verhuist Øye naar Siracusa, Sicilië met zijn moeder. Daar komt hij een trio Siciliaanse muzikanten tegen; La Comitiva. Als collectief mixen ze lokale, Mediterrane geluiden met Zuid-Amerikaanse invloeden en de akoestische pophandtekening van Kings Of Convenience (Øye was voorheen onderdeel van dit popduo) tot één zomers klinkend geheel. In 2018 beginnen ze met samenwerken en volgen snel een tour door Zuid-Amerika en Europa.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
