Elmiene, geboren als Abdala Elamin en opgegroeid in Oxford, is een 21-jarige artiest met een betoverende soulstem. Zijn debuutsingle 'Golden' kreeg veel aandacht nadat het werd gebruikt bij de laatste show van Virgil Abloh voor Louis Vuitton. Sindsdien heeft hij samengewerkt met bekende artiesten zoals Sampha, Syd en Stormzy. Zijn muziek, beïnvloed door soullegendes als Stevie Wonder en Marvin Gaye, combineert old school r&b met moderne productie, resulterend in een frisse en meeslepende sound. In april stond de zanger nog in Cinetol, dat in een vloek en een zucht was uitverkocht. Afgelopen zomer stond hij op North Sea Jazz en Lowlands en in april keert hij terug voor een show in Amsterdam, ditmaal in Tolhuistuin.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
