Elf Power is zo een band die aanbeden wordt door collega-muzikanten. De naar sixties psychedelica neigende indierockband uit Athens, Georgia mag R.E.M., The Shins en Wilco tot hun fans rekenen en nam muziek op met bandleden van Of Montreal en Neutral Milk Hotel. Elf Power werd in 1994 opgericht en heeft sindsdien meer dan 15 albums uitgebracht, waaronder één met folkrock-legende Vic Chesnutt en een flink aantal als onderdeel van het gerenommeerde Elephant Six label (the Apples in Stereo, the Olivia Tremor Control, Neutral Milk Hotel, Beulah). Een prachtige carrière van een band die in 2018 nog staat als huis.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
