Singer-songwriter Dylan LeBlanc komt uit Muscle Shoals in Alabama en maakt soulvolle Americana. In de jaren zestig en zeventig was daar de Muscle Shoals Sound Studio die erg populair was bij artiesten als Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin en The Staple Singers. Ze kwamen graag in de studio waar de vader van Dylan LeBlanc sessiemuzikant was. Van jongs af aan hing hij in de studio rond en kreeg op deze manier soul met de paplepel ingegoten. Later voegde zich hier de liefde voor countrymuziek aan toe. Dit hoor je terug op de vier langspelers van deze jonge crooner, waaronder het indrukwekkende debuut ‘Paupers Field’ uit 2010. Zijn laatste wapenfeit draagt de titel 'Pastimes', een EP met een aantal prachtige covers van onder andere The Rolling Stones, Buffalo Springfield en J. J. Cale.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
