De Amerikaanse r&b en soulband Durand Jones & The Indications bestaat uit het schrijvende trio Durand Jones (zang), Aaron Frazer (drums/zang), en Blake Rhein (gitaar). Sinds de oprichting in 2012 bewandelde de Amerikaanse soulband de weg naar het wereldtoneel, met uitverkochte shows in Europa, Japan, Australië en Nieuw-Zeeland tot aan de westkust.

Met het nieuwe album 'Flowers' op zak, dat uitkwam in juni, omarmt de band een volwassen, groove-gedreven geluid, een mix van soulvolle harmonieën en klassieke funkinvloeden. 'Flowers' is een mierzoet, maar prachtig gearrangeerd album vol laid-back jams gemaakt voor warme zomeravonden. Zachte strijkers, zwoele koortjes en blazers en vooral fenomenale leadzang, aldus 3voor12.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
