Tijdens Noodlanding! wordt de kelder van Paradiso omgetoverd tot Dondergrondse: dé plek waar nieuwe indie initiatieven, underground live-acts en dj’s bijeen worden gebracht. Pak veelbelovende, nieuwe bands mee in kleine setting en sluit af met knallende alternatieve dj-sets in het holst van de nacht.

DARK ALLIES is de Dondergrondse nacht gehost door Ravage! Ravage! Verwacht synthpop, electro, cold- en new wave, uit begin jaren '80 en anno nu. KONTRAVOID (live) † Canada
The former writer/producer of Parallels and ex-Crystal Castles and Trust drummer is responsible for one of Dark Allies' favourite albums of 2012. On his self-titled debut album, he turned to analogue synths to create a dark, brooding pop masterpiece.
As minimalwave.com writes, "Modern touchstones could parallel the likes of John Maus or Trust, but Kontravoid’s vision is a much more twisted one, embracing goth influences and yielding a monstrous result that is harder to define. Despite its sonic vampiricism, Kontravoid’s music leaves plenty to dance and lose your mind to, but the imagination here goes way beyond these activities exclusively."

MACHINEGEWEHR (dj set) † Bordello A Parigi, Rotterdam
Generation Slash is definitely applicable on Silas Schletterer. And we're not talking Guns 'N' Roses here. Silas is a musician/artistic painter/illustrator and DJ. As Machinegewehr, he produces some of the most tasty slices of electro coming from the Netherlands.
As DJ he plays exactly what inspires him to make the dark and urgent tracks you can find on his SoundCloud account, and soon on his first 12" record for Bordello A Parigi. Think Gesaffelstein, The Hacker, In Flagranti and Parallels.

TRISH TRASH (dj set) † Grauzone Festival, Amsterdam
Daylight's wasted on her, this femme fatale only comes out at night. Not only does she organize shows in various venues, most recently the Grauzone Festival in the Melkweg (edition 2 will be held January 31 2014), you can also regularly find her behind the turntables with her impressive collection of vinyl. Postpunk, cold wave, synthpop; often dark and doomy, but always danceable.

RAVAGE! RAVAGE! (dj set) † Dark Allies, Amsterdam
Ravage! Ravage! is an electronic-pop foursome from The Netherlands. They “eat glass candy, swing like Siouxsie and splice their synthpop with distorted guitars”, and, according to Dutch online multimedia channel 3voor12, bring "Ibiza entertainment from hell". Tonight Ravage! Ravage! will do a blitzkrieg of a DJ set, featuring nodisco from Crystal Castles to Fad Gadget, from Chromatics to Bobby Orlando and from The Knife to Soft Cell.
