Disco Arabesquo Night

After more than a year, ‘Disco Arabesquo Night’ will be back in Amsterdam on the 22nd of July 2023. They are honoured to have none other than the Syrian brothers from the occupied Golan Heights, Hasan and Rami Nakhleh, also known as ’TootArd’. They will be performing some of their infectious songs like ‘Moonlight’ and ‘Red Sea Disco’ from their album ‘Migrant Birds’ and Disco Dabke from their new ‘cocktail’ singles.

And as always ‘Disco Arabesquo’ will DJ and take you back to the sounds of the 80's & 90's Arabic Middle-East (South-West Asia) and North Africa. You will hear the voices of Fairuz, Mohamed Mounir, Simone, Cheb Khaled, Farid el Attrache, Hamied el Shaeri and many of their friends. Meanwhile, you will dance along misty visuals of characters from the golden age of Arab Cinema

Brace yourself for legendary classics, Moroccan Bangers, Lebanese Psychedelica, Algerian Funk, Egyptian Pop, Khaliji Rhythms, Libyan Reggae, Iraqi Bounce. Edited, mixed, mashed and beyond! So brace yourself for a nostalgic Arabic night into the future.
