Showcasing Afro-electronic sounds and rhythms from all corners of the globe, NYC-based DESCENDANTS returns to Parallel on February 28th for their first edition in 2025. This time with another stacked line up featuring local and international talents. We're welcoming none other than South Africa's pioneers Enoo Napa and G-Wash10 alongside DESCENDANTS founder Meedy b2b with Rebelle, supported by Amsterdams very own legendary Wes Lee.

ABOUT DESCENDANTS:
DESCENDANTS is the fastest growing community based Afro House experience in New York City. Their mission is to bring beautiful souls together to express and truly experience Afro House and other culturally inspired electronic music. Combining eclectic Afro-Electronic artists from around the world that express a wide range of culturally inspired house music, along with in-house projection mapping and visuals, DESCENDANTS strives to curate spiritually elevated experiences for their visitors.

How to get to Parallel

Parallel is located at Buiksloterweg 5C in Amsterdam North, at the rear end of the Tolhuistuin building. To get there, catch one of the free ferries departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Upon crossing the IJ river, take an immediate left and cross the Volewijck bridge. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Overhoeksplein. Here, you will find the Galgenveld bridge to your right. Crossing it, you will find the Tolhuistuin archway and Parallel’s entrance.
