After a two-year halt, Dekmantel Festival returns this summer. The Amsterdam organization is delighted to reunite for their much anticipated new rendition of the five day event, taking place from August 3rd to August 7th, 2022. For this homecoming edition, the Dutch organization lands back at both of its familiar bases: Amsterdam’s IJ river and the Amsterdamse Bos. Thursday unfurls into a myriad of live performances at Parallel and other venues like Bimhuis, Eye Filmmuseum and Shelter.

How to get to Parallel
Parallel is located at Buiksloterweg 5C in Amsterdam North, at the rear end of the Tolhuistuin building. To get there, catch one of the free ferries departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Upon crossing the IJ river, take an immediate left and cross the Volewijck bridge. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Overhoeksplein. Here, you will find the Galgenveld bridge to your right. Crossing it, you will find the Tolhuistuin archway and Parallel’s entrance.
