DARGZ, afkomstig uit New York City, brengt de hiphopsfeer van zijn thuisstad naar de bruisende Londense jazzscene met zijn genreoverstijgende, eclectische composities. Inmiddels gevestigd in Londen, heeft hij samengewerkt met toonaangevende opkomende jazztalenten, zoals Mercury Prize-genomineerde drummer Moses Boyd en pianist Charley Stacey (Yussef Dayes Trio). Als tourmuzikant stond DARGZ op het podium met Vampire Weekend, Haim en Interpol.

“DARGZ heeft altijd gedraaid om doen uit liefde en puur genieten,” zegt David Dargahi over zijn soloproject. Ironisch genoeg begonnen de streams pas in de miljoenen te lopen toen hij zonder plan muziek ging maken, puur voor zijn eigen voldoening.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
