“Son, you play country like country was when country was country". Dale Watson is een authentieke countryheld en met een plek in de Hall Of Fame van Austin in Amerika al bijna een legende. Net als zijn grote voorbeeld Johnny Cash speelt hij rauwe, pure country en zet hij zich af tegen de gladde popcountry die volgens hem tegenwoordig uit Nashville komt. Een bijna fatale overdosis drugs en het overlijden van zijn verloofde tekenen het leven en de muziek van Watson.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
