Nick Rattigan is een behoorlijke alleskunner. De Amerikaan is songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, journalist en videoregisseur. Naast zijn functie als drummer van Surf Curse heeft hij een soloproject genaamd Current Joys. Vorig jaar kwam het album 'A Different Age' uit. Daarop hoor introverte, lo-fi indiepop waarbij Rattigan wat gas terugneemt en een meer dromerig geluid aanneemt.
