Het eigenzinnige multimediacollectief Crack Cloud bestaat uit kunstenaars, filmmakers, muzikanten en ontwerpers die samen opvallende visuele kunst, art-rock en post-punk maken. In 2017 verhuisden verschillende leden van het collectief vanuit Calgary naar Vancouver, waar het album 'Pain Olympics' ontstond, opgevolgd door 'Tough Baby' in 2022. Nu is hun derde volledige studioalbum Red Mile zowel een eerbetoon als een thuiskomst. De bandleden zijn namelijk in de tussentijd weer teruggekeerd naar Calgary, waar Red Mile tot stand kwam. Op hun nieuwe album onderzoekt de band de concepten van thuis en wedergeboorte, waarmee ze een nieuwe richting inslaan ten opzichte van hun vorige albums Tough Baby en Pain Olympics. Verwacht strijkerssecties, woestijnpsychedelica, saxofoons, groepsgezang en punksnaren.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
