Voordat ze ook maar één keer samen op het podium stonden, werkte Couch bijna drie jaar lang via FaceTime aan hun muziek. De zevenkoppige band uit Boston die soulvolle indie-pop moeiteloos vermengt met funk, r&b en jazz. Wat begon als een langafstandsproject tussen vrienden van de middelbare school en universiteit, groeide uit tot een titelloze debuut-EP en een reeks singles. In 2023 verscheen hun tweede EP 'Sunshower', gevolgd door tours met o.a. Lake Street Dive en Cory Wong (Vulfpeck). Ook deelden ze het podium met St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Sammy Rae & The Friends en Ripe.

In maart 2026 keren ze terug naar Amsterdam voor hun allereerste headline-optreden in Tolhuistuin, met hun debuutalbum 'Big Talk' op zak.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
