Ze komt uit Canada, woont in Londen en maakt zoals ze zelf omschrijft doom soul. Ladan Hussein, beter bekend onder artiestennaam Cold Specks, gebruikt invloeden van gospel en folk voor haar muziek, en doet met haar warme stem ook denken aan grote helden als Tom Waits en Jeff Buckley. De jonge singer-songwriter bracht in 2014 haar tweede album ‘Neuroplasticity’ uit en werkte daarop samen met onder meer Swans-voorman Michael Gira.
Special guest deze avond is LA Timpa.
