City of the Sun keert terug naar Amsterdam. Op zaterdag 25 april is het post-rock trio te zien in Paradiso Noord. Tickets zijn hier verkrijgbaar.

Sinds 2011 is het uit New York afkomstige trio City Of The Sun bezig met de staande normen van rock en alles daaromheen af te breken. Genreoverschrijdend is het enige woord wat de lading dekt. Het geluid van de band beslaat invloeden uit indierock, Amerikaanse folk, flamenco en blues. De nummers klinken werelds en filmisch, een mix tussen Explosions In The Sky en Rodrigy y Gabriela. Na toers met Peter, Bjorn & John, G. Love en Thievery Corporation, is City Of The Sun een opkomende naam in de post-rock sfeer.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
