The show of City of the Sun is rescheduled to Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021. All earlier bought tickets remain valid for the new date. Ticket buyers who have purchased a ticket directly via our website will receive more information through e-mail.

NL: Dit is het verplaatste programma van 25 april en 11 september. Het concert zal plaats vinden in Paradiso Noord. Tickets gekocht voor die datum zijn ook geldig voor de nieuwe datum en locatie.

Sinds 2011 is het uit New York afkomstige trio City Of The Sun bezig met de staande normen van rock en alles daaromheen af te breken. Genreoverschrijdend is het enige woord wat de lading dekt. Het geluid van de band beslaat invloeden uit indierock, Amerikaanse folk, flamenco en blues. De nummers klinken werelds en filmisch, een mix tussen Explosions In The Sky en Rodrigy y Gabriela. Na tours met Peter, Bjorn & John, G. Love en Thievery Corporation, is City Of The Sun inmiddels een opkomende naam in de post-rock sfeer.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
