De vierkoppige Engelse band Circa Waves maakt aanstekelijke indierock. Circa Waves werd opgericht in 2013 in Liverpool en wordt naar eigen zeggen muzikaal beïnvloed door bands als The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys en The Vaccines. Twee jaar na hun oprichting verscheen debuutalbum 'Young Chasers' met hierop de hit 'T-Shirt Weather', die ook op de Nederlandse radio op veel airplay kon rekenen. Onlangs kondigde Circa Waves de release van hun vijfde studioalbum 'Never Going Under' aan; de plaat komt uit in januari 2023. De eerste single 'Do You Wanna Talk' is nu al te beluisteren.Â

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
