Cindy Wilson vergaarde bekendheid als zangeres, songwriter en oprichter van de legendarische band The B-52s. Na veertig jaar in de muzikale spotlight te hebben gestaan brengt ze eind 2017 haar eerste solo-album uit: ‘Change’. Een plaat die vele kanten van de muzikante laat zien. Natuurlijk is er veel te halen voor liefhebbers van The B-52s die je natuurlijk kent van hits als ‘Love Shack’ en ‘Rock Lobster’, maar naast new wave maakt Wilson ook uitstapjes naar krautrock, dream pop en meer. Het aantal nieuwe ear candies dat er op te vinden is zal niet op één hand te tellen zijn, en we zijn dan ook benieuwd hoe de Amerikaanse deze gaat vertolken tijdens het eerste Nederlandse optreden met haar band.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
