Chip Taylor en John Platania zijn twee levende country legendes in de muziekwereld. Chip Taylor, geboren als James Wesley Voight, maakt al bijna 60 jaar muziek en is onder meer bekend van het nummer ‘Wild Thing’, welke gecoverd is door grote namen als The Troggs en Jimi Hendrix. Daarnaast zijn Chip's nummers ook door Janis Joplin, The Hollies en Willie Nelson vertolkt. Na een uiterst succesvolle carrière is de vlam nog altijd niet gedoofd en zorgt Chip met John Platania op het podium nog steeds voor een sfeervolle show. Platania is vooral bekend als Van Morrison’s gitarist, maar speelde verder met onder meer Randy Newman, Don McLean en Judy Collins.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
