Ze vonden elkaar in hun gezamenlijke liefde voor Stevie Wonder, David Bowie en Brian Eno en de rest is geschiedenis. Oprichters Gary Daly en Eddie Lundon vormen al bijna 40 jaar lang de band China Crisis. Hun debuutalbum ‘Difficult Shapes & Passive Rhythms’ verscheen in 1982 en sindsdien hebben de mannen hits gescoord met ‘Black Man Ray’ en ‘Wishful Thinking’. China Crisis maakt synthpopliedjes met sterk politiek geladen teksten en invloeden van blues, progressieve rock en reggae ritmes, terwijl ze lekker meesurfen op new wave.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
