Cautious Clay, het alter ego van Joshua Karpeh, is een zanger, songwriter, producer en multi-instrumentalist uit New York. Geïnspireerd door een mix van hiphop, r&b, indie en soul maakt hij lo-fi elektronische pop. Na zijn autobiografische album 'KARPEH' vond hij nieuw ritme en inspiratie in Philadelphia, wat leidde tot het conceptuele project 'The Hours: Morning'. een mixtape-achtige ode aan de ochtenduren. Met acht nummers die elk een moment van de dag belichamen, laat Karpeh zijn veelzijdigheid horen in een frisse balans tussen persoonlijke reflectie en popprecisie. Na zijn eerder uitverkochte concerten in onze Bovenzaal van Paradiso en Bitterzoet komt hij op 9 december terug naar Amsterdam voor een concert in Tolhuistuin.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
