Bull is een vrolijke vierkoppige britpop- en indierockband uit het Engelse York. De band maakt al ruim tien jaar meters in het lokale muziekcircuit van Noordoost Engeland, maar bracht pas dit jaar hun debuutalbum 'Discover Effortless Living' uit via EMI Records. De plaat nam de band op in Amsterdam met producer Remko Schouten, onder andere bekend van zijn werk met Pavement. De muziek van Bull klinkt, anders dan hun bandnaam doet vermoeden, als lieflijke en aanstekelijke indie, vol koortjes en harmonieën. Of, zoals frontman Tom Beer vertelt in een interview: “I’ve realised recently that I like blissful music that just makes you happy to hear something so beautiful, so we try to capture those evasive, magical sounds”. Op maandag 11 oktober speelt de band in Paradiso met Steve French en The Klittens als support.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
