De Amerikaanse singer-songwriter Brooke Annibale blinkt uit met haar magnetische stem en expressieve schrijverschap. Op haar meest recente album ‘Hold to the Light’ verkent ze een nieuw geluid door het combineren van traditionele instrumenten met gelaagde elektronica, terwijl ze haar akoestische roots trouw blijft. De productie van Sam Kassirer (Josh Ritter, Lake Street Drive) en gastbijdragen van Josh Kaufman (The National), Matt Douglas (Sylvan Esso) en Zach Hickman (Ray Lamontagne, Josh Ritter) maken de nummers helemaal af.
