Folk-pop, indie-folk, indie-pop productions. Brennan Keller, known as Brenn!, does it all from the heart. Based in Alabama, the artist is constantly surrounded by lush landscapes and a rich Southern culture. No wonder his music blends his roots with contemporary sounds. Classic folk tales intertwine with modern, infectious pop hooks, while confessional, narrative lyrics take center stage. After releasing a debut EP in 2024 and a follow-up in 2025, it’s now time for a full-length album. ‘AMATEUR AT BEST’ propels Brenn! forward with charm and heartache, capturing his coming-of-age journey — it’s hard not to grow up quickly with sold-out shows and performances at festivals like Lollapalooza and Hangout Fest. On the cusp of summer, he’ll take the stage in Amsterdam, where inspirations like The Lumineers and Noah Kahan have also graced the spotlight.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
