De Britse formatie black midi profileert zich met hun hybride combinatie van math-rock, industrial noise en post-punk als één van de meest eigenzinnige acts uit de Zuid-Londense muziekscene. Na debuutplaat 'Schlagenheim' verschijnt binnenkort opvolger 'Cavalcade'. De nieuwe plaat is vooral dynamisch in zijn muzikale ambitie. De groep luistert breed en diep, niet alleen naar rock en jazz, maar ook hiphop, elektronische dansmuziek, klassiek, ambient, prog. Black Midi omschrijft het zelf als volgt: "We combineren de lessen die we uit al deze muziek hebben geleerd om iets te maken dat interessant is om naar te luisteren en een geluid heeft wat gloednieuw is."

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
