Er zijn maar weinig hedendaagse bands die muzikale heruitvinding zo consistent weten te benaderen als Black Country, New Road. Vanaf hun Mercury Music Prize-genomineerde debuutalbum 'For the First Time', waarin jazz, postrock en klezmermuziek samenkomen, tot het artrock- en kamerpopwerk 'Ants From Up There'. Toen zanger Isaac Wood kort na deze mijlpalen in der minne vertrok, schreef het zestal een hele set nieuwe nummers die uitkwam op 'Live at Bush Hall', een album waarvan The Guardian in een triomfantelijke vijfsterrenrecensie beweerde dat het een “magische heropleving” was. Nu, met studioalbum nummer drie op komst, laat de band opnieuw zien dat ze meester zijn in het volledig heruitvinden van zichzelf.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
