BJ Barham is frontman van de vermaarde alternatieve countryband American Aquarium. Hij is geworteld in North Carolina en staat bekend om zijn rauwe, eerlijke schrijfstijl. In 2022 bracht hij samen met American Aquarium zijn meest recente plaat 'Chicamacomico' uit, waarop hij zingt over persoonlijk verlies, zijn familie en zijn jeugd. Op 2 maart geeft hij in zijn puurste vorm - dus alleen, zonder band - een intiem concert in de mooie Zonzij-zaal van Tolhuistuin. Hij zal zowel werk van American Aquarium als nummers uit zijn solo repertoire ten gehore brengen.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
