De uit Michigan afkomstige en in Nashville wonende Billy Strings heeft met zijn dertig jaar een indrukwekkend cv. De singer-songwriter en muzikant won talloze prijzen voor zijn albums, waaronder een Grammy voor 'Home' en stond op verschillende grote festivals. Met persoonlijke teksten en invloeden van bluegrass, klassieke rock, metal en pyschedelische invloeden wordt Strings gezien als één van de meest veelbelovende muzikanten van zijn generatie. Eind 2022 bracht de muzikant 'Me/And/Dad' uit, een album dat hij maakte met zijn vader, Terry Barber, die hem gitaar leerde spelen. Dit album is een droom die uitkomt, want samen vieren ze hiermee hun liefde voor bluegrass, country, muziek en natuurlijk elkaar.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
