Beverley Knight wordt beschouwd als de koningin van de Britse soulmuziek. Haar indrukwekkende carrière, die meer dan twee decennia beslaat, heeft geleid tot goud- en platina-albums, uitverkochte tournees, 14 Top 40-hits en meerdere nominaties voor de Brit Awards en de Mercury Prize. Knight heeft samengewerkt met iconische artiesten zoals Prince, Chaka Khan, Nile Rogers, Jools Holland en Andrea Bocelli en in 2007 ontving Knight een MBE van de koningin voor haar bijdrage aan de muziek.

Naast haar solocarrière heeft Knight ook veel succes geboekt in het theater. Ze speelde hoofdrollen in West End-producties zoals 'Memphis' en 'The Bodyguard en ze keert binnenkort terug naar het toneel als Deloris van Cartier in 'Sister Act'.

Knight viert haar 50ste verjaardag met haar nieuwe album 'The Fifth Chapter' en komt met haar tour '50' dit najaar naar Tolhuistuin.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
